Five dear friends celebrated their respective birthdays this past month and I wanted to make each one of them a special, handmade gift. I decided to make architecturally-inspired, woolly windowpane scarves in their favorite colors. I did end up making an extra one too (above)... for me, perhaps? Or, should I add it to my Etsy shop? Decisions, decisions.

3-Season Scarf

Lightweight and silky next to the skin, this hand-crocheted scarf can be worn all year round, indoors and out. This is the first item in my new Wildly Woven collection; made of non-wool fibers for wool-sensitive types. I love the feel and drape of this bamboo/acrylic fiber — sumptuous: it's like giving your neck a spa day! You can grab a cozy custom scarf for yourself — just go to my Etsy shop. Currently available in light taupe, periwinkle, and butter.

Vintage-Style Hair Clips

On my upcoming summer get-away, I want to just pull my hair back and not spend time fussing with it. To that end, I created these romantic vintage-style rose hair clips. Felted Don't-Worry-Stones®

I'm so excited to be offering these hand-felted stones in my Etsy shop as of today! I owe a big thanks to my e-sista, Linda Lanese (thanks, Lin), for all her great input and support. Each unique "Don't Worry Stone"® is an actual stone nested snuggly in a colorful felted wool cozy. Each cozy is both needle- and wet-felted by hand with care.

Felted Owl Bowl

This charming charcoal-grey owl bowl flew into my Etsy shop today — he is one-of-a-kind and kinda wonderful! The "feathers" surrounding his big striped eyes, plus his handsome felted ears, add a nice 3-dimensionality to this functional art piece. I will make more if I get lots of requests :) UPDATE: This item has sold.

What a great week it's been, and it's only Tuesday!
